Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you
with my righteous right hand."
From the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation, God makes hundreds of promises that reveal His character and His care for His people. His most profound promise is to always be with us. Where? Where is God? Don’t we sometimes wonder in the dark of night when problems hover over our heads like water balloons waiting to drop and drench us with the unsolvable. God says He is there. If we wonder where God is in those moments, we need to recognize that in our sinful humanness, we have left God – He has not left us.

During the month of June, we will focus on a few of the many of God's promises in the bible.
In those quiet moments, when you’re barely holding on, doubt whispers: “Maybe God forgot.” But here’s the truth you need to hold on to: God never breaks a promise. Ever. His Word is as sure as the sunrise, as unshakable as His throne. If He said it, He will do it.
1. God Will Never Leave You:
God promises His constant presence, assuring believers that they are never alone, even in trials or uncertainty. This promise encourages courage and trust, reminding us that His Spirit walks with us in every situation.
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you”

HEBREWS 10:23. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. 24 Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, 25 not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. 26 If we give up and turn our backs on all we've learned, all we've been given, all the truth we now know, we repudiate Christ's sacrifice 27 and are left on our own to face the Judgment - and a mighty fierce judgment it will be!
What is your purpose for being in worship today? Are you here to gain new knowledge of the Lord, or maybe you just want to praise Him or give thanks. Perhaps you are here to lay down a burden. Whatever your reasons, Satan doesn’t want you here. He will do everything he can to keep you away from the service and other Christ followers. Satan and the demons that follow him are real and working all around us. Grab your purpose for being in the house of the Lord and let it stand in front of you as a shield against the ploys of Satan.

John 15:1. "I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer.2. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn't bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more."
We noticed something watching the speed skating team events of the Olympics last week. In one team event the skaters took a cue from geese and would rotate the lead skater so that the rest of the team could draft. After a while, the lead would move to the back and the next skater would lead. In another race there was a skater who pushed the skater on the track when he came on. The push would give an extra bump to the speed of the skater on the track. So, I thought as Christ followers, there are times we need to lead and let others draft for a while and then there are times when we need to give our fellow believers a little push.
